Mike Moffatt's point is apropos. I'm a boomer who's been involved in activism most of my life. Most of the folks in my cohort who self-identify as being 'progressive' seem functionally incapable of understanding the housing crisis, how awful it is, what caused it, and, what plausible solutions would look like. I've come to the conclusion that I just have to keep my mouth shut and avoid back-and-forths with them, because they see the problem as being exclusively caused by greedy capitalists with zoning, park allocations, development charges, architectural design rules, and, the building code being totally irrelevant. :-{

Yeah. It would be easier for them to absorb if the face of the movement was AOC instead of Doug Ford---.
