Thanks Yuri, that's an awesome series. I found the discussion of the political dynamics to be particularly interesting: (1) municipal governments giving in to hyperlocal opposition, (2) a regional district which serves municipal interests, (3) a provincial government which defers to municipalities. I think it's fair to say that (1) and (3) have changed in recent years.
