We need to allow the single staircase design because it is universal design, except north American most of cities. But Seattle, Montreal, now Vancouver are allowed, we need to do this kind of building all the time.
Super underrated. Advocating for Sheena sharp back in Toronto, they also wrote a public article on Ontario Association of Architects website regarding relaxing these staircase firecodes.

Love it. I lived in Seattle and saw many of these buildings. I didn’t even realize this was another hold up in B.C.
