Unfortunate that progressive commentators keep suggesting that there is no housing shortage. Of course it’s not immigrants’ fault. But it exists
There is not enough housing. There’s now a broad expert consensus on this point. Continuing to ignore that does, in fact, make things worse, and contribute to dangerous xenophobia.

Am I correct in my understanding that this is the same pattern all across Canada, and that it is largely due to Federal tax-treatment of rental housing? (Along with local land use policies as well, I'm sure)
