Elevators cost nearly three times as much in North America compared to its peers. What is going on here?
Incredibly honoured to partner with Sightline Institute on this video! I've been a fan of their research and policy work for several years, so collaborating with them on this video was pretty surreal. They advocate on a number of important issues besides elevators, and you can find out more about them at sightline.org.
I also heavily relied on a report by the Centre for Building in North America for this video. There were many issues I didn't have the chance to get to so I highly recommend reading it if you want to dive deeper into the issue.
