Urbanarium City Debate #17: Was the province right to assert its authority on land use? From October 2024, shortly before the most recent provincial election.

Helen Lui and I argued for the Yes side, while Andrew Merrill (city of Coquitlam) and Sarah Ellis (formerly with the city of Vancouver) argued for the No side, with Frances Bula moderating. There were opening statements (seven minutes), then questions and responses, and finally closing statements (two minutes).
